Welcome to jjanzen.ca
Hi! I'm J. Janzen. I'm currently a master's computer science student at the University of Manitoba, focusing on theoretical topics. This is my website that I use to host a Git server and some projects. My philosophy on web design is JavaScript is bad and should be avoided when possible and that modern web standards mean the web ends up lacking character. Old Geocities sites had the right idea and I hope to bring that spirit to my website.
- I greatly enjoy participating the free and open source software community, reading, music, taking walks, drinking tea, and configuring my text editor.
- I am a member of the Geometric, Approximation & Distributed Algorithms (GADA) Lab at the University of Manitoba.
- My thesis topic is on the decidability of producing microfluidic mixing graphs using a single component that performs a perfect mixture of two droplets
- I have an additional interest in computational geometry
